Following our fantastic visit to the Nursery Fair at Harrogate we have photos of the Oyster 3 and some details! Oyster 3 will be available in two chassis colours including Grey (City Grey Colour!) and Chrome. You will notice the detail of the branding on the chassis, harness and the sleeker look of no rivets showing on the chassis. There will be eight options and seven fabric choices as one of the three greys will be available on both colour chassis and carrycot. There will be seven bags and footmuffs, a new ride on board and a new infant cushion to give extra padding and make the seat completely flat. The foot rest can be turned inside out for use in the lie flat position. The stroller is suitable from birth, bigger than the Oyster 2, folds more compactly with the seat unit attached (no need to remove the bumper bar) but is half a kilo lighter than the Oyster 2. Oyster 3 also has a one button slide to lock and swivel the front wheels and a hood and harness easily slides up the frame to grow with the child. The hood is expandable and wheels are more hardwearing too. The bigger carrycot has a lovely raised apron with a rocking bottom or feet to stabilise it and a ventilated hood. The stroller and carrycot come complete with beautiful Herringbone tweed fabric, and the names of the eight options still to be finalised. Oyster 3 will only use the multi car seat adaptors as the current Oyster carseat is being replaced with the Isize Carapace Infant car seat due in June along with the base and Isize Toddler car seat. The Oyster 3 is due for arrival in September and will run along side a reduced colour range of Oyster 2.
We are expecting the pram to retail at around £750 but this is subject to change until the actual release.
